  • From the moment she arrives, one of our support workers, along with our social worker and trauma/crisis counsellor if needed, welcomes her into a safe and supportive environment. This includes offering support, guidance, and advocacy tailored to her specific needs.

Recognizing that each situation is unique, we take great care to meet these women wherever they are in their journey of exiting exploitation and abuse. We are ready to provide the specific assistance they require and give them choices. We prioritize building individual, trusting relationships aimed at restoring their health, sobriety, sense of purpose, and dignity.

  • Her Victory holds a weekly restoration/connect program as well as weekly one on one relationship building and case management inside Calgary's Women's Remand Prison.  This program allows us to create new relations with those inmates facing exploitation outside of the prison walls and bring awareness and invitation to our program once they are released.

  • Accessibility to our services is fundamental to our mission. We strive to ensure that anyone seeking assistance can easily access our support. Located in Eastside Victory Church in Calgary, Alberta, our team is available on site for immediate needs from 12-2 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Whether it's providing resources, offering counseling, or simply being a listening ear, we are committed to making our services readily available to those who need them most. Additionally, we continuously assess and improve our accessibility measures to remove barriers and ensure inclusivity for all individuals seeking our support.

  • We offer daily hot meals and coffee, emergency food hampers, and serve as a depot for the food bank. Additionally, we provide backpacks and/or care packages containing practical necessities.

  • We understand the importance of personal hygiene and its impact on overall well-being. That's why we provide a welcoming space for women to access hot showers, clean towels, and hygiene packs. These packs include essentials like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other personal care items. Additionally, we offer practical necessities to help alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in difficult situations. Our goal is to provide not just physical comfort, but also dignity and a sense of normalcy to those we serve.Item description
